This is a contribution to a uniquely crafted and beautiful soul of a friend on her start to her twentieth year lapping the sun. Abigail Katherine Ramsey - there is so much to be said about the butterfly girl herself.

She is roaring into her twenties as well as the year 2020 and I just know this year will be life changing, not only for Abby, but for everyone around her. Abby impacts everyone she comes in contact with - with a gentle spirit and a confident nature. Her sense of humor and music taste is impeccable and I would 1000% recommend her friendship. I’m going on 14 years of friendship with this one, and there is not a day I connect with Abby where I do not think the Lord entangled our lives with a purpose.
Abby has been there for me through my years of anxiety and I have been there for hers. Our highs and our lows we have always walked each other through, and I can not imagine having another mentor than her. She is wise beyond her years and knows exactly how to talk through life with you. She knows how to love well and encourage for the future. She knows how to live life to its fullest and be optimistic in not-so-optimal conditions. Her spirit is free, her creativity is captivating, and I am FULLY convinced she was a butterfly in another life…
Abby and I met when I was in kindergarten and she was in first grade when I mistakenly called her "Addy". We would play after school together since both of our moms are teachers, steal food from the teachers kitchen together, and make cards for each other with her mom's class construction paper. Now we go to downtown Atlanta together, get food at cute coffee shops, and make cute instagram story posts for one another on birthdays. Growing up is crazy - but necessary. It requires change, endurance, and unknown but these are all things Abby tackles head on. Life is short and demands a go-with-the-flow attitude at certain times or else we can get caught up in what isn't in our control - and this is something I have learned through being around Abby.
She took my senior year pictures and allowed me to be myself through the process while staging poses that brought out my true nature. These pictures are still my favorite to this day, solely because I know the sentimental value they hold and they represent Abby's amazing talent of photography. Wouldn't have asked anyone else to take them for me bub! You're the best.
To wrap everything up, I definitley recommend having someone in a grade ahead of you to discuss situations that may arise in the coming year with because it really does help with approaching life with a new perspective. Having a mentor is having someone you can rely on and having someone you can trust throughout life changes, and I can say with confidence that Abby will be in my wedding someday because of the lifelong quality of friendship we have.
So happy birthday bubbo! Here's to the memories! May there be many more in the years to come. Much love to you!
Stay in pursuit, Be patient.
